good news. I survived this semester. after hours of homework, lesson plans, drama in school & out of it, work, service, church callings and ensuring I have somewhat of a social life...I made it. nowww onto student teaching which I feel may be ten times harder & more stressful. no really I don't know how it will go yet. I am crazy nervous for it though that's for sure. anywho so I made it and the days with no school or real worries has been lovely. i am still way busy for some reason well i guess i'm working more which is good. so before student teaching I want to try & read all the harry potters again, make sure i can graduate in the spring ( i need to try to get into one last class), sleep in lots, find a car and have a successful christmas.
and of course i need to talk about this past tuesday. it was a lovely day. so first i had a final, science final mind you where we wait for it....created and reported on an experiment testing which brand of diapers were most absorbent. and of course my science teacher just had to bring in the cutest newborn size diapers. needless to say i am extremely baby hungry after that. not to mention i now know that huggies are the best ones. okay so after that i spent some time shopping with my momma and then i met up with nicole. we shopped at hobby town, hit up cafe and decided to make treats...of course! yay!. so we headed to the apt & christy came too. double yay! anywho nicole made a tasty chocolatey cake and we just hung out watching GLEE & New Girl. I tried making molasses cookies like my mom did but it was a fail. anywho then dear Jake from SLC stopped by. he used to live in Logan and moved before school began. it was lovely visiting with him he cracks me up. and then instead of oh studying for my math final...emilee & i went over to his old apt & played a game called BANG with him & his roomies. it was a super fun day and i loved it all.

since then it's been sleeping in, running errands and continually putting important stuff off because i want to sleep in. oh & sure i've been catching up on my Days of Our Lives episodes too. sidenote time: when I was little I used to watch that show ALL the time with my family. we loved it! my mom would even record it so we could watch it together when we got home from school. and while some people may be like 'what you let your kids watch a soap opera'...really it wasn't even that bad of a show. honestly i think it's gotten slightly worse but the storylines were great and intriguing. at a family reunion once, because my moms siblings & their kids watched it too a lot, we chose who of the cousins was going to be who from Days. For instance, my sister Jen was Lexi, I was Sami, Homi was Bo (if you haven't watched you won't understand sorry) and my cousin Steph was Hope. aaahhh those were the good ol' days. anywho I still love the show to this day even if I am lost half of the time & i have to google stuff every episode.

well christmas is coming & the goose is getting fat. i'll blog more once there is something exciting to blog about. until then, i have lots more time at bath and body works and let's hope i survive. merry christmas to all & to all a good night. (i love that story oh & i love christmas music. i am truly a person who never tires of hearing any of those songs)
